As part of the 2021 IAA Mobility, AUDI presented its newly developed models with a focus on premium digital and electric mobility. NUSSLI implemented the AUDI brand world. In keeping with the theme, our team built the "House of Progress" with a sustainable and time-saving construction method.
At the IAA Mobility in Munich, the car manufacturer presented the latest developments under the banner of its mobility vision in a tangible and inspiring way. AUDI chose the Open Space on Wittelsbach Square for their presentation. NUSSLI built the 2021 AUDI Brand World according to the concept and architectural plans as well as under the overall construction management of Avantgarde. This is how the so-called "House of Progress" was created, with three "Experience Walls", a revolving podium, floor and ceiling cladding as well as glass railings - entirely from NUSSLI construction services. The NUSSLI project team was also responsible for handling and coordinating Audi's own trade fair furniture.
Sustainable and quick construction with system materials
The media described the AUDI presentation as one of the highlights at the IAA Mobility. One could even label it unrivalled in terms of its CO2 footprint. For NUSSLI built the setup from system materials that are completely reusable. The high-quality wood panelling provided the required straight, elegant look. However, this construction method based on system materials offered decisive advantages not only in terms of sustainability, but also in terms of execution speed. Because the short planning period meant that only eight days were available for the construction. In addition, the client AUDI AG delivered the vehicles for the exhibition on September 5th, and thus before the construction work was completed. And: The location in the middle of Munich's city center presented several tricky points, especially concerning logistics: little space for storage and working radius, lots of traffic and curious onlookers. A challenge that the NUSSLI Team overcame masterfully!
