The hall is among the attractions in Valencia's "City of Arts and Sciences" (Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias): The elliptical building of L'Àgora is 70 feet tall when closed and has a total area of 4,811 square meters.
The major challenge with the Valencia Tennis Open is to house as many seats as possible within this space. NUSSLI has taken on the planning, construction and dismantling of the temporary event structures for this important tennis event every year from 2009 until 2014. This project included the installation of approximately 5,560 seats and 363 VIP seats in the grandstands and the construction of a 43-seat presidential grandstand. In addition, NUSSLI's 15-member assembly team set up various camera platforms, commentary boxes and TV studios in just a few weeks.
