For the 2025–2026 soccer season, NUSSLI is building a temporary stadium in Vejlby for the traditional club AFG (Aarhus Gymnastikforening). This temporary solution will ensure that games can continue to be played without interruption while the new soccer home is being built.
Efficient temporary solution for match operations
The temporary stadium is designed as a fully-fledged venue for the Danish Superliga. At its heart is a premium grandstand with 3,200 seats, including standard and VIP areas, complemented by a roof for optimal weather protection. In addition, five TV towers for professional media broadcasts will be built, as well as platforms and connections to catering and access areas. All components are designed for quick assembly, safety, and complete dismantling.

Part of a major stadium and urban development project
The temporary stadium will serve as a stopgap until the new Skovens Arena is completed in the Kongelunden forest area. The new soccer-only stadium, with a capacity of up to 24,000, is being designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, Sweco Danmark, and Tredje Natur and is intended to blend harmoniously into the natural surroundings. At the same time, Denmark's largest city park is being created. Until the new arena opens, Vejlby will remain the sporting home of AFG, made possible by NUSSLI's flexible stadium solution.
