Starry Night from the Wachau, Rossatzbach
Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Wachau region, Rossatzbach becomes the venue for the “Starnacht aus der Wachau.” This open-air music event brings well-known artists to the stage and combines live music with a television production. For the event, NUSSLI constructs a grandstand with over 1,100 seats each year, as well as various additional structures for the audience, event technology, and camera crews. This creates a temporary infrastructure tailored to the diverse requirements of the music event.
Construction of bleachers for the audience
NUSSLI is constructing a grandstand with 1,152 seats and blue seat shells for the Starnacht event in the Wachau region. The temporary spectator facility is built using modular system components and tailored to the venue’s requirements. The flexible system makes it possible to create grandstands of various sizes and configurations. At the same time, the use of reusable system components ensures efficient assembly and disassembly processes. This allows the spectator infrastructure to be set up quickly and dismantled again after the event.
Versatile event structures for event management
In addition to the grandstand, NUSSLI’s infrastructure includes various platforms, staircases, and a walkway approximately 40 meters long connecting the grandstand to the stage. These structures serve different functions and complement the facility for event operations. One notable feature is the accessible viewing platform, which provides a designated viewing area for people with disabilities. In this way, the infrastructure accommodates the diverse needs of the audience and makes room for as many people as possible who want to experience the Starnacht live.
Event Infrastructure for Live and Television Production
"Starnacht aus der Wachau" is not only a live event held on-site but also a television production. Accordingly, NUSSLI's services include various facilities for technical implementation and video production.
The FOH (Front of House) serves as the location for event technology. The technical aspects of the show are controlled from here. Four camera platforms provide designated locations for the camera crews and support the production of television footage. In this way, the infrastructure takes into account not only the needs of the audience but also the requirements for the technical execution and broadcast of the event.
