In Münster, NUSSLI quickly constructed a hall used as a lecture hall with 1400 m² and a 450 m² foyer for use by the Education and Science Centre of the Federal Finance Administration. The institution, which is responsible for the education and training of customs officers throughout Germany, urgently needed more space to train its new staff. In a complex four-year conversion and expansion project, almost 40 percent more training capacity is therefore being created.
In a first step, NUSSLI, as the prime contractor, implemented a lecture hall that included the interior fitting as well as a projection screen. The lecture hall accommodates 400 trainees of the German customs administration, who can thus be instructed at the same time.
The temporary lecture hall ensures that the prospective customs specialists can continue their training undisturbed while the construction work for the further extensions continues.
High-quality education building: The provisional facility has well-equipped workstations as well as optimized acoustics and lighting.
Spanning across 450 m² of floor space, the foyer of the interim lecture hall is also suitable for larger events.
Focus on accessibility: The entire hall is accessible for people with disabilities.
