With a height of 39 meters, the Big Air ramp at the ARAG BigAir Freestyle Festival in Mönchengladbach was the largest ramp at an FIS competition to date. Located in the heart of the city, the impressive structure stretched across a total of three lots, crossed a two-lane street, the entrance area of the Mönchengladbach hockey stadium, and finally ended on the pitch of the SparkassenPark. With these prerequisites and dimensions, planning and structural specifications had to be accurate down to the millimeter, and this constituted the biggest challenge for the NUSSLI team.
