Suspense Down to the Last Putt in Crans Montana

The fans on the grandstand at the 18th hole experienced the finale with top-notch players up close — all the way until the last ball landed in the hole. At the international Omega European Masters golf tournament, NUSSLI built multiple grandstands for a total of 1,800 fans and event structures for the media.

September 2018

The grandstand at the 18th hole even hosted the finale twice during the tournament. The defending champion Fitzpatrick and the Dane Lucas Bjerregaard ended the regular round with a tie, and had to engage in an additional playoff. The suspense did not let up until the very last stroke — and it was ultimately Matthew Fitzpatrick who defended his title with a Birdie putt.

In addition to the grandstands, the NUSSLI team also built various TV towers, a commentator platform, and a sub-construction for an LED wall. The well-groomed golf course required the utmost care during the setup and dismantling work. The tournament took place from September 6-9.
