Golden Theater House in the Snow
The venue is Lake Silvaplana amidst the Upper Engadin mountains, and the hero of the piece is Charlemagne.
In the latest production "The King in the Snow" at the Bündner Cultural Festival in Origen, Giovanni Netzer staged the legend of Charlemagne as dance theater. NUSSLI built a golden theater for the play about guilt, atonement, rejection and reconciliation. The theater houses a grandstand with 300 seats and a stage presenting the snow-covered Lake Silvaplana and mountains as a backdrop.
