For the swimming world championships, temporary swimming facilities were built in Halls A and B of the exhibition center. Around the temporary swimming pools, the NUSSLI team built a temporary grandstand system with 5’400 and 2’700 spectator seats in a construction period of around three months.
This enabled the city of Fukuoka to provide a suitable and sustainable event infrastructure for the event and the number of spectators.
