The pavilion at Raumwelten, named the „light cloud“, has set an architectural example. As prime example for temporary architecture it acted as open meeting place in which the topic “communication in space” could be directly experienced in a very direct way. The pneumatic pavilion had a floor space of approx. 200 m2, was 6.6 meters high and contained an air volume of 1800 m3. To guarantee the stability of the pavilion, 80 tons of ballast were used. The pavilion has been designed by students and implemented to perfection by the NUSSLI Group.
