MXGP of Switzerland, Frauenfeld
Since 2016, NUSSLI has been supporting the MXGP of Switzerland in Frauenfeld with temporary grandstand solutions for spectators and barrier-free areas. The race is part of the FIM Motocross World Championship and brings the international motocross elite and thousands of motorsport fans to eastern Switzerland. For an optimal view of the spectacular races along the track, NUSSLI is realizing a temporary spectator infrastructure that meets the requirements of an international motorsport event.
Grandstands for motorsport up close
Motocross thrives on spectacular jumps, close duels and fast changes of position. To give spectators an optimal view of the racing action, NUSSLI is building a grandstand system with 730 seats in Frauenfeld. The temporary construction offers an elevated view of central sections of the track and allows fans to follow the motocross world championship races at close range. Year after year, a spectator solution is created that combines functionality, safety and comfort.
Barrier-free solutions for sporting events
In addition to the grandstand, NUSSLI is building a special platform for people with reduced mobility. The platform, measuring 5 x 5 meters and one meter high, creates a comfortable and safe spectator area with a good view of the race track. In this way, NUSSLI is helping to make the event accessible to a wide audience and meet the requirements of modern sporting events in terms of inclusion and visitor comfort.
Flexible solutions for recurring events
The MXGP of Switzerland is an example of NUSSLI's expertise in recurring major sporting events. The temporary grandstands are rebuilt every year and adapted to the requirements of the event. Thanks to many years of cooperation, NUSSLI has extensive experience with the processes of international motorsport events and ensures efficient implementation within a short time frame.
A comparable project is the DTM race at the Norisring in Nuremberg where NUSSLI also realized temporary spectator infrastructure for an international motor sport event. Both projects show how flexible Grandstand solutions provide an optimal spectator experience at high-class racing events.
