DTM Race at Norisring, Nuremberg
For many years, NUSSLI has been supporting the historic Norisring in Nuremberg with temporary grandstand and event solutions for the DTM. Every year, a motorsports-ready spectator infrastructure is erected right in the heart of the city, perfectly combining the atmosphere of the race, excellent visibility, and functionality. For the renowned city race, NUSSLI builds flexible grandstand facilities and special structures along the track, laying the foundation for a first-class live experience.
Temporary spectator facilities for the DTM
Along the legendary race track, NUSSLI is constructing extensive grandstand facilities for thousands of motorsports fans. The various spectator areas are specifically designed to optimize sightlines, track layout, and visitor comfort. Covered and uncovered seating provides optimal conditions for a variety of needs and creates an immersive racing experience right at the track. Thanks to their modular design, the temporary facilities can be efficiently integrated into the existing urban infrastructure.
Different grandstands for maximum flexibility
For the DTM race at the Norisring, several custom-designed grandstand solutions with varying capacities and amenities are being created. The Schöller Grandstand features 2,375 uncovered seats and 592 covered seats. The Alpha Grandstand offers an additional 1,817 uncovered seats and 702 covered seats. The offering is complemented by the Milwaukee Grandstand with additional covered and open seating areas, as well as the Pit Lane Grandstand with a direct view of the racing teams and pit stops. Additional grandstands, such as the Speck-Pumpen Grandstand, along with special areas for media representatives and accessible seating, ensure a diverse and high-quality visitor experience along the entire race track.
Ideal conditions for the media and visitors
In addition to the spectator grandstands, NUSSLI is constructing supporting infrastructure for the media, event organizers, and accessible access. A dedicated press box with standing room provides optimal working conditions for media representatives and photographers during the race weekend. Additionally, wheelchair-accessible viewing platforms ensure unobstructed views of the race action and enable an inclusive event experience for all visitors. The temporary structures are precisely tailored to the requirements of an inner-city motorsports event.
Experience gained from annual large-scale events
The annual event at the Norisring demonstrates NUSSLI’s expertise in managing complex major sporting events with tight setup schedules and demanding logistical requirements. Thanks to years of on-site experience, we develop efficient processes and flexible solutions that are precisely tailored to the needs of event organizers, visitors, and the media.
NUSSLI also provides temporary infrastructure for large crowds and complex event formats at other long-standing motorsports and sporting events.
