The National Museum in Zurich wished to have sufficient exhibition space during the construction work at the museum extension. That is why the Federal Office for Buildings and Logistics commissioined NUSSLI with the construction of a temporary exhibition pavilion in the form of a metal-clad cube in the courtyard of the listed complex.
