Grandstand construction for the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is one of the most famous racetracks in Europe and is the venue for several international motorsport events. For the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix and the MotoGP™, NUSSLI builds a total of six temporary grandstands along the track every year. Together, the structures offer space for more than 12,700 spectators and expand capacity at selected sections of the track. The various grandstands create attractive sightlines to the racing action and give motorsport fans an intense experience right next to the track. Despite the sometimes tight space conditions and the proximity of the individual structures to each other, the facilities are planned precisely and erected within a short space of time.

Covered spectator areas for more comfort

An essential part of the infrastructure are the large-scale roof structures that NUSSLI is realizing for several grandstand locations. The canopies create comfortable spectator areas and protect visitors from the sun and weather. The grandstands are complemented by other temporary event structures that are tailored to the requirements of the respective event. The combination of open and covered areas creates a flexible spectator infrastructure that is used for both Formula 1 and MotoGP™ and offers visitors a high-quality racing experience.

From the grandstand to the hospitality solution

In addition to the spectator stands, NUSSLI also realizes supplementary hospitality structures for guests and partners of the event. The combination of grandstands, canopies and hospitality areas creates a comprehensive infrastructure concept for motorsport events at the highest level. This results in temporary solutions that meet the requirements of organizers, visitors and partners alike and prepare the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for international race weekends year after year.

Motorsport infrastructure for recurring major events

Both the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Spain and the MotoGP™ are among the permanent fixtures on the international motorsport calendar.
