Brazil Pavilion "Living Laboratory," Expo 2025 Osaka
The Brazil Pavilion “Living Laboratory” at Expo 2025 in Osaka combined sustainable architecture, immersive exhibition design, and interactive experiences to create a striking national pavilion. NUSSLI was responsible for the complete interior design as well as the construction and integration of all exhibition elements. The Expo pavilion addressed themes such as sustainability, cultural diversity, and social responsibility, creating an inspiring experiential space within the world’s fair. After the Expo concluded, the temporary pavilion was dismantled.
A sustainable exhibition with an immersive feel
The exhibition was based on a concept by Brazilian director Bia Lessa and was designed as a living laboratory. Visitors immersed themselves in themes such as sustainability, social justice, and cultural diversity. Inflatable installations symbolized the breath of the Earth, while sustainable materials such as recycled plastics were used throughout the interior. The combination of innovative exhibition design, interactive installations, and sustainable construction made the national pavilion a unique experiential space within Expo 2025 Osaka.
Dynamic Interior Design in the Expo Pavilion
The exhibition tour intuitively guided visitors through five different exhibition spaces. Each station explored the connection between people, nature, and the future. The immersive design was enhanced by audiovisual elements and interactive features, creating a multisensory environment that invited visitors to explore and participate.
