Swiss Pavilion "From Heidi to High Tech", Expo 2025 Osaka
The Swiss Pavilion “From Heidi to High Tech” at Expo 2025 in Osaka showcased sustainable architecture, innovative exhibition design, and immersive experience spaces within an impressive national pavilion. NUSSLI, acting as general contractor on behalf of Presence Switzerland, was responsible for project management and all construction work, and precisely implemented the interactive features of the Expo pavilion. After the world’s fair concluded, the temporary pavilion was dismantled.
Spherical Architecture Created an Immersive Exhibition
Visitors were guided through five spherical structures representing different themes of Swiss innovation and sustainability. The exhibition featured an intuitive visitor flow and combined modern event architecture with interactive installations. This created an immersive experience space that blended knowledge transfer, interaction, and emotional impact. The combination of architecture, exhibition design, and multimedia presentation made the Swiss Pavilion a unique experience at Expo 2025 Osaka.
Dynamic Spatial Design in the Swiss Pavilion
The custom-designed exhibition elements made it possible to convey each theme clearly and comprehensibly. At the same time, the spatial arrangement of the installations ensured a natural and harmonious flow through the exhibition. Visitors were able to actively explore the content and engage with the interactive components. The immersive design combined interactive media, spatial staging, and sustainable architecture, thereby creating a memorable visitor experience within the World’s Fair.
