Austria Pavilion "Sounds of Austria," Expo 2025 Osaka
The Austrian Pavilion “Sounds of Austria” at Expo 2025 in Osaka combined sustainable architecture, innovative exhibition design, and immersive visitor experiences to create a striking national pavilion. NUSSLI served as the general contractor and was responsible for the planning, project execution, and construction of all exhibition areas. The Expo pavilion created an emotional journey through Austrian innovation, creativity, and sustainability. After the world’s fair concluded, the temporary pavilion was dismantled.
Audiovisual Experience at the Austria Pavilion
The immersive exhibition was divided into three themed rooms and took visitors on an audiovisual journey through Austrian ideas, connections, and innovations. Interactive exhibits, musical performances, and multimedia presentations were seamlessly integrated throughout, creating an emotional yet informative visitor experience. The combination of visual, auditory, and interactive elements made the pavilion a unique experiential space within Expo 2025 Osaka.
Spectacular Spiral Sculpture Defined the National Pavilion
The modular national pavilion impressed visitors with a spectacular spiral sculpture and musical performances. The architectural design of the Austrian Pavilion and the overall theme were created by BWM Designers & Architects. facts and fiction, in collaboration with BWM, was responsible for the concept and design of the exhibition.
The spiral-shaped sculpture symbolized Austria’s creativity and technological strength and gave the Expo pavilion a strong visual identity. At the same time, the structure combined sustainable architecture with innovative exhibition design, creating a temporary structure with high recognizability within the World Expo.

The precise technical and structural execution resulted in a national pavilion that effectively combined architecture, exhibition, and technology.
