The Uzbekistan Pavilion, titled “How to Live in the Future and How to Be Happy,” at Expo 2025 in Osaka combined sustainable architecture, immersive exhibition design, and interactive experiences to create a striking national pavilion. NUSSLI was responsible for the construction and installation of all exhibition elements and precisely implemented the immersive and interactive content. After the Expo concluded, the temporary pavilion was dismantled.

Sustainable Exhibition with Modular Architecture

The Expo Pavilion guided visitors through an indoor and outdoor area spanning approximately 840 square meters, focusing on themes such as knowledge, innovation, and social change. The exhibition combined modular and reusable wooden installations with symbolic design elements, thereby creating an event architecture that was both sustainable and impressive.

A symbolic garden and central sculpture defined the pavilion

A central feature of the exhibition was a symbolic garden, complemented by a forest of columns and a central sculpture that connected the various areas of the pavilion. Each element of the exhibition was designed to convey both Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage and its visions for the future. This created a cohesive visitor experience with a strong narrative character.

Precise implementation of all exhibition elements

The immersive environment invited guests to actively participate in the exhibition and reflect on future ways of life and social change. Interactive components encouraged reflection and engagement, transforming the national pavilion into an inspiring space for experience within Expo 2025 Osaka.

The Uzbekistan Pavilion was part of a series of international Expo projects that NUSSLI realized for Expo 2025 Osaka. These included, among others, the national pavilions of Austria, Brazil, Kuwait and Switzerland. The diverse pavilion concepts impressively demonstrated NUSSLI’s versatility in implementing sustainable architecture, immersive exhibitions, and temporary experiential environments for international world expos.
