On behalf of BigCityBeats GmbH, NUSSLI erected several event structures, including DJ booths, delay towers, FOH, and both the open-air “Zombie Stage” and the heart of the festival — the main stage — right in the middle of the Commerzbank-Arena. The 20-meter-high and 60-meter-wide stage construction spanned the entire width of the stadium.
Since the arena was needed for another event just before the WCD and already had to be available for the next project a few days after the WCD, the assembly and disassembly times for the event structures were very short. A logistical challenge the NUSSLI Germany project team was happy to face head-on.
