The two-story hall is completely column-free and has a floor area of 4,230 square meters. In addition, there is a warehouse and foyer with a further almost 1,600 square meters. The building materials - mainly concrete, steel and glass - were transported in 83 container loads by sea and air from South Africa and Europe to Doha. During construction, the NUSSLI team was supported on site by around one hundred fitters from subcontractors.
To protect the valuable exhibits - 23 works by 23 artists - the hall is equipped with an air conditioning system that ensures a constant temperature and, above all, humidity.
