Adele Concert Arena, Munich

Adele World, a temporary arena with around 80,000 seats, a huge stage and a theme park, was built for Adele's only European concerts in 2024. On behalf of Leutgeb Entertainment Group and Live Nation Germany, NUSSLI was responsible for part of this event infrastructure and planned the buildings on the basis of countless system construction elements, which were dismantled again after the ten mega-concerts and given a new task in another event building.

Arena of superlatives: 42,000 seats in record time

For the NUSSLI constructions alone, 250 lorries with system construction material, machines and cladding - mainly from Germany - rolled onto the site of the Riem trade fair in Munich. Eight grandstands with a total of 42,000 seats were erected in just five weeks, which corresponds to the capacity of a large football stadium. The NUSSLI project team also realised 18,000 m² of platform space in Adele World for the 25,000 or so chairs around the catwalk area, two side walls to the left and right of the main stage in XXL format measuring 108 m long and 17 m high. The 5 portals between the stands and the rear walls created a completely enclosed arena.

Team performance under extreme conditions

Up to 120 people were working for NUSSLI on the construction site during the installation - on some days in temperatures of up to 36 degrees and measured temperatures of over 80 degrees on the freshly laid black asphalt.
