The Belarusian exhibition, which is named "Forest of Future Technology", is inspired by the lush forests and rich natural resources of Belarus. It communicates the idea that nature and technology coexist, complement each other and create a sustainable and innovative future. In line with a belief that minds, joined together like trees in a forest, are capable to successfully face any challenges, "Forest of Future Technology" will present innovative solutions to global problems, new ways of individual expressions and ideas for collective and global missions.
Construction within One Year
On behalf of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, NUSSLI Adunic planned the Belarusian appearance at Expo 2020 in Dubai. The planning, construction and dismantling of the entire pavilion are part of NUSSLI's commission as general contractor. Construction, which will take around a year, started on October 8. The pavilion is set to open on October 10, 2020.
The Pavilion Brings the Primeval Forest to Dubai
The three-story pavilion is located in the Opportunity section of the Expo grounds. With its nearly 1400-square-meter gross floor area, the pavilion and its elaborate interior design are distinguished and eye-catching. The Belarusian Pavilion brings the look of its primeval forests to Dubai. Right at the entrance, green-lit structures symbolize the stylized trees that guide and lead visitors on their way through the entire pavilion. Inspired by its own wealth of natural resources, the Belarus exhibition demonstrates how we can create new opportunities in the future through joint growth and efforts.
About EXPO 2020
Under the slogan, "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future," EXPO 2020 will take place from October 20, 2020 to April 10, 202 in Dubai, the first time in an Arab and Muslim country. More than 190 countries and organizations present their exhibitions on the three thematic clusters Opportunities, Sustainability and Mobility, which together make up the size of 610 football fields. 25 million visitors are expected, most of them from abroad.
