For the first time in history, the Fed Cup was held in Hawaii, on the island of Kailua Kona.

Hawaii was also uncharted territory for NUSSLI. It is 4,299 miles from the Indianapolis branch office to Hawaii; NUSSLI USA had never before shipped material over such a long distance. The NUSSLI crew installed 1,700 seats for the spectators of the women's tennis spectacle within 2 days. The USA achieved a 4:0 victory over Poland.
