From March to October 2016, visitors to the cube will be greeted with a program that presents a wide range of performances and promises to cater to a broad range of interests and tastes. For this event, NUSSLI installed a temporary theater cube with a historical look on Waisenhausplatz.
The planning of the Bern Theater cube with 480 seats, catering, backstage and technical areas as well as a cloakroom took less than a year. Just a month after construction began in January, the assembly of the cube with 1,000 square meters of floor space was complete. For this, NUSSLI used a newly developed modular construction system that enables the realization of temporary halls at the most unusual locations and in any size.
