In addition to the base structure for the stage including an orchestra pit, sound and equipment room, as well as a backstage area, the NUSSLI crew built a grandstand installation with over 2,600 seats, a VIP platform, and five towers for production and lighting within a month. Furthermore, the structures NUSSLI erected for the stage and grandstand stood in up to two meters of water.

After all, the most popular musicals from all over the world and outstanding in-house productions attract over 70,000 visitors to Lake Thun every year. After world-class performances such as "Cats" or "Romeo and Juliet", the Thunerseespiele will be featuring yet another hit musical: "Mamma Mia!" from July 11 to the end of August 2018.
