From April 13 to October 13, 2025, the World Expo will take place in Osaka, Japan, under the motto “Designing future Society for our Lives”. On the occasion of the Expo 2025, NUSSLI has received the contract from the responsible Kuwaiti Ministry of Information to construct the country pavilion of the Arab state. Salem Al-Watyan, the General Commissioner for the Kuwaiti Pavilion at Expo Osaka 2025 and Assistant Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Information for Administrative and Financial Affairs, signed the contract at the Kuwaiti Embassy in Tokyo.
In addition to the Swiss and Austrian pavilions, this is the third project at the World Expo in which the NUSSLI Group is proudly involved.
A Great Wealth of Experience
NUSSLI CEO Andy Böckli is delighted about the contract that the company, as an expert in the construction of country pavilions, has been awarded for its ninth Expo. “For the success of the spectacular Kuwaiti pavilion, we can draw on a great deal of expertise in all aspects of country presentations and, in particular, on our experience with Expo pavilions.” NUSSLI is realizing the Kuwait pavilion as a total contractor.
After signing the contract, the Kuwaiti delegation traveled on to Osaka. There, they visited the NUSSLI office and team the following day, made an appointment with the Expo organization, and toured the Expo site. The design of the pavilion will be presented at a later date.
