Roger Federer scored the decisive third point for the Swiss team on Sunday. Switzerland is in the Davis Cup finals for the second time since 1992.
However, not only the Swiss tennis team but also NUSSLI gave an impressive performance for the second time this year in Geneva. What, in April 2014, had been the largest temporary tennis court ever with almost 16,000 seats, was topped again for the current semi-finals: NUSSLI has expanded the temporary tennis facility with 2,400 seats. With a capacity of around 18,500 spectators, the new tennis arena breaks all records.
The 30-person installation team needed only two weeks for the construction of the mega-arena, including cladding.
Switzerland lines up for the Davis Cup finals in France from November 21-23. The venue will be the northern French city of Lille.
