With the support of the Swiss Army, NUSSLI is equipping the hive of activity which is Adelboden with various platforms, podiums, substructures and the finish area for a total of 5,000 spectators who are expected in this village in the Bernese Oberland. The 17.5-meter high grandstand facility with an integrated commentator platform and Sky Lounge offers media members and fans an optimal view of the finishing slope. The Sky Lounge is accessed via a private stair tower which is directly connected to the grandstands.
Special flair and creativity are prerequisites for the construction work in Adelboden, because in addition to icy temperatures and snowfall, the tight space within the residential area presents the greatest challenge for the NUSSLI team. For reasons of space, the temporary buildings will be erected right next to or even above the adjoining houses. NUSSLI is integrating a total of three garages in the event structures, so that residents can still be guaranteed access to their homes.
