The countries that have signed on to the Paris Climate Agreement have pledged their commitment to reducing emissions. Delegates attending the 23rd UN Climate Conference want to introduce fundamental agreements and regulations as part of a concrete plan to put the agreement into action. The COP 23 conference will be hosted by Germany and presided over by the government of Fiji.
The conference's cable bridge, constructed by NUSSLI, is made of system material and spans 40 meters, with an average height of 5.50 meters. The bridge is supported and lined by a 4-meter-tall concrete wall.
Up to 25,000 people from around the world are expected to attend the two-week conference in Bonn. According to the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, this is the largest international conference ever held in Germany.
