Since 2009, the women’s tennis tournament of the WTA Tour has been held in the Mexican city of Monterrey. To allow more spectators to enjoy the spectacle on site, the organization decided to add more seats to the existing stadium. NUSSLI was hired for the development and implementation of this sustainable stadium expansion - particularly importance was given to the consideration of separate stairways and escape routes for the additional seats.
