The Swiss town of Werdenberg is Europe's smallest festival town. Since 1985, well-known operas have been staged here time and again in a beautiful setting. In 2020, NUSSLI erected covered grandstands in the Werdenberg castle courtyard, which also made it possible to perform in the Corona year with a specially developed safety concept. The precondition for this: The infrastructure had to be revised. Hence the stage was extended, and a formerly large grandstand became three smaller ones with separate entrances and exits.
