To ensure physical education classes during the construction of a new secondary school, the municipality of Horgen is relying on a temporary double gymnasium. NUSSLI built the modern facility in the Gehren district within just ten weeks – functional, sustainable, and ready for use starting in June 2025.

High-quality temporary solution with sustainable construction

The hall measures 32.5 x 28 x 8 meters, features a movable partition wall for flexible use, and a centrally accessible equipment room. Wood paneling ensures a pleasant indoor climate, while environmentally friendly, reusable materials underscore the sustainability of the structure.

Sports operations secured until 2030

The temporary facility will remain in operation until the new school building with a triple gymnasium on the Berghalden/Rainweg site is completed. This ensures that sports activities for students and clubs in Horgen will continue – despite the large-scale construction site in the background.
