Gymnastics is back in Stettlen! NUSSLI added a temporary sports hall to the infrastructure for the new campus of the Bern and Biel School of Design in Bernapark in Stettlen. The integrated functional rooms made of wood come from RUBA's in-house production.
The basic structure of the temporary hall consists of our system material, which does not require foundations. ‘The construction of the sports hall is based on a proven modular construction system,’ explains Roman Horisberger, Project Manager at NUSSLI, adding: ’The prefabricated wooden modules for the changing rooms and equipment rooms were already equipped with all the necessary pipes, connections and sanitary facilities during production by RUBA. This allowed us to keep the assembly time on site short.’ Wooden modules and pollutant-free building materials ensure a pleasant indoor climate.
