The Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 was the largest inclusive sports festival in the world, with thousands of athletes with intellectual and multiple disabilities from more than 190 countries competing in 26 summer Olympic sports. Messe Berlin was transformed by NUSSLI into a multi-sport facility by installing around 9,000 grandstand seats in the form of 30 individual stands in 11 halls to accommodate the various sports.
The sports venues were spread throughout the city, with Olympiapark and Messe Berlin being the main venues.
