Marathon, Berlin
NUSSLI constructed comprehensive temporary structures in the start and finish areas for the Berlin Marathon. The facilities created optimal conditions for spectators, media, and organizers, and met the highest safety and quality standards while also being quick to assemble and completely dismantlable.
Perfectly staged finish area
When thousands of runners cover the last few meters of the Berlin Marathon, an impressive backdrop awaits them at the finish area: spacious grandstands with high capacity, a striking finish line as the emotional highlight of the race, and a photo bridge for optimal media coverage. The infrastructure was supplemented by entrance towers for targeted visitor guidance.
Functional start area for a strong start
The start of the Berlin Marathon is a major logistical event, and the temporary infrastructure was clearly structured accordingly. Grandstands for spectators and a large-scale starting gate provided orientation and atmosphere at the same time. Clear paths, good sightlines, and sufficient space for media and event technology ensured that the start of the race went smoothly, safely, and on time.
