In the spring of 2014, the former Schocken department store in Chemnitz, Germany was repurposed. “SMAC”, the Chemnitz State Museum of Archeology, was opened in the interior of the famous department store. The State Office of Archaeology commissioned NUSSLI to construct the display cases and the exhibition.
