A modern interactive exhibition dedicated to František Palacký, the “Father of the Nation” and the architect of the nation’s historical memory, organized to mark the 150th anniversary of his death. The exhibition presented this important figure in Czech history in an engaging way—through a comic book, a mobile phone chat, and an interactive map of Europe.

At NUSSLI, we helped bring this unique exhibition to life in record time. With the goal of keeping costs as low as possible for the client while also prioritizing sustainability, we recycled as much material as possible from the previous “Má vlast” exhibition for this project. We rebuilt the walls, created new graphics on them, and repainted the display cases and see-through boxes. We helped produce the exhibition’s most striking feature—a table shaped like a map of Europe with an interactive technical solution (a pump and balls). We installed the mounting structure for the projector in the center of the room, erected a partition wall, and handled all electrical wiring, including the LED lighting in the display cases and the AV equipment.

František Palacký was a historian, politician, writer, and one of the leading figures of the National Revival, who played a key role in shaping modern Czech identity and historical consciousness. He helped the Czechs rediscover their own history, language, and national self-confidence. It was a great pleasure for us at NUSSLI to help people learn more about such an important figure in Czech history.
