For the festival summer in Nuremberg, NUSSLI implemented the entire temporary event infrastructure at the airport over several years. The company was responsible for all stages, visitor areas, and functional areas—from delivery and setup to dismantling. Year after year, this created a safe, efficient, and inviting environment for several weeks of festival operations.
A powerful stage as the centerpiece of the event
A spacious festival stage was erected in the center of the site, with a covered performance area and protected areas for technical equipment and organization. The structure offered sufficient space for performances, productions, and smooth operations behind the scenes. Additional backstage and storage areas ensured that artists, crew, and equipment were optimally accommodated.
Additional structures such as side towers for sound and video technology and a catwalk expanded the stage's potential uses and supported professional show staging. NUSSLI thus created the basis for a powerful and versatile festival experience.

Comfort zones for guests
In addition to the stage, NUSSLI also designed the visitor areas. An elevated VIP area offered an attractive view of the action and created an exclusive place for guests to relax. Generous access points and clear pathways ensured a pleasant and safe flow of visitors.
A separate platform with a ramp also provided barrier-free access and ensured that all guests could enjoy the event in comfort. The site was complemented by a striking entrance portal and additional lounge areas such as a panorama lounge – places to arrive, linger, and enjoy.

To ensure that the festival summer could take place reliably, NUSSLI took on the complete implementation of the temporary structures—from construction and operation to dismantling. This ensured that the festival ran smoothly and laid the foundation for stars to continue performing at all four festivals at the airport in the coming years.
