Beach Volleyball, Olympic Games

In the centre of Paris, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, NUSSLI built one of the most spectacular stadiums in its history for the 2024 Olympics: the Stade Tour Eiffel. An enclosed arena with a breathtaking view of the world-famous landmark was created for the beach volleyball tournament - a venue that not only impressed in terms of sport, but also architecturally.

Technical masterpiece at the landmark

On behalf of GL events, NUSSLI built an arena with two spectator tiers, VIP areas and integrated media spaces. The construction period lasted from March to the end of May 2024, with the biggest challenge being the logistics in the busy Champ de Mars area, right in the heart of the city. The team used a total of 1325 tonnes of material - a project of the highest precision and efficiency.

Olympic stage with a signalling effect

With 12,000 spectator seats, the Eiffel Tower Stadium was one of the most popular venues at the Olympic Games in Paris. It is a prime example of NUSSLI's expertise in realising complex construction projects at outstanding locations. In total, NUSSLI was involved in seven Olympic venues - from archery to the megastore on the Champs-Élysées - and thus had a lasting impact on the Olympic cityscape.
