Men's Handball World Championship 2025

During the 29th IHF Handball World Championship 2025, NUSSLI transformed the Unity Arena in Oslo into a handball arena with 13,384 seats. From January 14 to February 2, 2025, the best teams in Norway, Denmark and Croatia competed, with the final taking place in Oslo.
A grandstand system up to 15 meters high with 10,500 seats - in a U-shape and very close to the pitch - created an intense atmosphere for teams and fans. In addition, NUSSLI integrated platforms for the sponsor Lidl and catering options. Accessibility was ensured by 40 wheelchair spaces. Two studio towers enabled the event to be broadcast worldwide.
NUSSLI provided a flexible, sustainable solution for the Norwegian Handball Federation. The arena was prepared for the Norwegian championships as early as December 2024, and it was quickly dismantled after the World Cup. A total of 26 games were played in the temporary arena, with NUSSLI guaranteeing efficient implementation with its experience from similar projects.
