Bata in Equatorial Guinea was among the venues for the Africa Cup of Nations finals in 2012. However, with barely 20,000 spectator seats, the capacity of the local stadium was insufficient for an event of this magnitude. NUSSLI solved the space problem by constructing a second, roofed tier.
