For 60 years, the annual AUDI FIS Ski World Cup has been drawing over 40,000 winter sports fans to Wildstrubeldorf, transforming Adelboden into a bustling hub of activity for two whole days. Over the weekend of January 9–10, 2016, the best international giant slalom skiers will be speeding down the most difficult giant slalom slope in the world in a race where victory is decided by mere split seconds.
NUSSLI will be outfitting the winter sports location with various platforms and pedestals as well as a 12 x 6 meter high support structure for an LED wall and a grandstand installation by the finish slope for a total of 4,200 fans. Construction work has been fully underway in Adelboden since December 13th.
