Theme Pavilion Sphere "Museum of Future Energy"

The World Exhibition 2017 took place in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan from June to September. The theme of this national Expo is „Future Energy”. The undisputable highlight was the „Sphere”, a ball-shaped building with an 80-meter diameter, which was built in the centre of the Expo area, housing the exhibition about solar, kinetic and biomass energy amongst others.

NUSSLI Adunic was responsible for the entire exhibition fit-out of 4 out of 8 levels. Emphasize should be put on exhibits such as the „Wind Tunnel”, a prototype with 3 simulated wind zones, a walk-in solar model with an interior and exterior projection as well as an oversized kinetic sculpture with an integrated artist wheel. Despite challenging environments and difficult climatic conditions with temperatures of -32 to +29 ° C, NUSSLI Adunic has finished the project on time and to complete satisfaction.
