Since 1950, the annual Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo has taken place in front of Edinburgh castle in the Scottish capital. In early 2009, NUSSLI was given the task of developing a new grandstand system for the largest music festival in Scotland. The temporary arena was used for the first time in 2011.
