Tailor-made sports hall for Albstadt
The 45 x 22 meter hall with a ridge height of 9.5 meters consists of a stable steel construction and is clad with insulating sandwich panels and a light strip. Additional functional rooms made of prefabricated containers are integrated on the long sides: Equipment and storage rooms to the west and changing rooms, toilets and showers to the east.
Energy-saving, flexible, versatile
Compared to air domes, the steel construction scores with higher energy efficiency and lower operating costs, which is particularly relevant in times of rising energy prices. Technically, the hall is designed as a double gymnasium and can be divided into three parts using curtains. The sports floor is prepared for the attachment of sports equipment and has basketball hoops and a fold-out wall bars.
