F1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Jeddah

more project-details

The 2021 F1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix was held on a brand new street circuit in the port city of Jeddah.  The audience members were able to cross the race via two gigantic pedestrian and cart bridges built by NUSSLI. And naturally also follow the race in a safe manner.

Bridge no. 1 has a free span of 16 meters and is 12 meters wide. In addition to ramps, it can also be accessed via six stairs and lifts. The two ramps are each 70 meters long. The second bridge is even bigger and has a free span of 34 meters. This bridge is exclusively accessed via ramps. Both of these bridges in Jeddah are two of the biggest bridges that we have ever built and in the shortest amount of time, at that. The NUSSLI Team only needed about six weeks until completion.
