Elephantine is an island in the Nile in southern Egypt. Different peoples with different languages, cultures and religions once lived there. This can be proven by written sources - researchers have found thousands of texts on pottery shards or papyrus in ten different languages and scripts. As part of the European research project, these were deciphered, translated and digitally catalogued in Berlin. As the main supplier of the entire exhibition architecture for the associated special exhibition, we were part of this historically valuable project. Our team from the Czech Republic supplied atypical freestanding structures and elements, pedestals for exhibits and other originally designed elements.
