Top performance
With a sports area of around 4400 m² and the flexible use of the eight partial halls, it is available to the Berliner Ring school center for sports lessons and to Monheim sports clubs. A grandstand with 500 seats also makes the hall a meeting place for sports, events and leisure activities.
Time saved thanks to element construction
The prefabricated construction method saved a considerable amount of time compared to conventional construction methods and shortened the work on the construction site. Ongoing school operations and traffic in the surrounding area were only slightly affected. The components of the hybrid construction made of wood, steel and concrete, weighing up to 41 tons, including 600 wooden elements alone, were delivered by heavy-duty transporters and assembled using a heavy-duty telescopic construction crane.
