“The Night Race Schladming”, January 26, 2010
The legendary winter sports spectacle will be held for the fourteenth time on the slopes of the Planai in Schladming on January 26, 2010. The world’s best slalom artists will compete once again in an exciting race to determine the winner of this year’s coveted victory at the extraordinary ski sports event. More than 45,000 ski fans will be on hand at the Plania Stadium to cheer on the ski racers and join in the celebration at the open air party, which follows the race.
NUSSLI has been a part of this major event from the very beginning, building the necessary temporary infrastructures year for year. In this year, the supplementary constructions will be built by 15 assembly operators under the direction of two NUSSLI pros during a period of six days. Grandstands with standing room for 2,500, three trestles for video walls, podiums for commentator booths, a 50-meter-long stairway, and additional smaller structures will be supplied from a total of 125 tons of material, in order to provide the ski sports aficionados in Schladming with an unforgettable experience.
